If you’ve been to the Steve Omischl Sports Complex recently, you may have noticed crews working on a new temporary access point.
The city says it’s opening on Monday to facilitate the ongoing construction of the new Recreation and Community Centre.
The temporary access point will be in place until the end of November.
“During this time, the main entrance to the complex at Booth Road will be closed to the public,” states a release. “A temporary access point has been established east of Booth Road.”
Signage will be posted, and all visitors to the complex are asked to use the alternate route.
