Most retail outlets and government offices are closed Tuesday for Canada Day.
That includes City Hall.
North Bay Transit buses are not running on July 1, and there’s no curbside garbage or recycling pick-up either.
It’ll be delayed a day for the rest of the week.
Meantime, there’s no shortage of family fun lined up in the downtown waterfront area to mark Canada Day.
You can find birthday treats by the bandshell just after the opening ceremonies at noon, live music all day, Kid’s Zone fun, Centennial Zone activities, food vendors, and more.
There’s also free admission to the North Bay Museum and Dionne Quints Museum.
