A two-week closure of Lakeshore Drive near the Omischl Sports Complex starts on Monday.
Work is being done on sanitary and stormwater connections involving the new Community and Recreation Centre, and the city says drivers should expect traffic delays.
A detour will be in place from July 7-21 on Ferris Drive and Booth Road.
The city also says intermittent lane closures at Lakeshore and Booth will continue until Nov. 30.
This as crews install traffic signals and work on underground improvements.
“The city thanks residents and businesses for their patience and cooperation during this work,” states a release.
Officials say a flagger will be on-site to assist with traffic flow, and at least one lane will remain open at all times.
