Temporary traffic lane being installed on Seymour Street

A traffic note for Seymour Street and the reconstruction project.

The city says a temporary traffic lane is being installed along the south side of the street, starting Wednesday (Aug. 13).

Officials say during the work, flagging personnel will be on site to direct traffic, and drivers may experience short delays while the temporary lane is constructed.

They add the temporary lane will allow for two lanes of traffic while the project is underway.

According to the city, the Seymour Street Reconstruction Project aims to enhance road safety, improve traffic flow, and upgrade critical infrastructure.

Construction is tentatively scheduled for completion by November 2026.
