Chippewa Secondary’s Terry Fox School Run raised over $8,400 on Tuesday.

Officials say it was a successful event that started with a spirited pep rally where several teacher challenges were honoured.

Those included karaoke, pies in the face and costumes being worn.

The school adds they’re hoping to reach $10,000 raised by the end of the week, with donations still being accepted online.
