Gas tax fund won’t go to pot holes yet

North Bay is spending nearly $3.8 million on fixing its roads this year which is up half a million dollars over last year.  But councillor Mark King is wondering if the amount can’t be increased by using money from the federal gas tax fund.  While council agrees with King that the roads are rough this year because of the winter, the gas tax fund, which has $3.1 million in it, needs to be used for priority projects.
