9400 people across the province took part in the Ontario Health Coalition referendum on cuts to health care, and 99.6% of them said those cuts have to stop.

1,000 polling stations were set up across Ontario, including some in North Bay this past Saturday and voters overwhelmingly said they do not want the provinces to cut or privatize services that hospitals provide.
Mike Bisaillon is an Executive Board Member with OPSEU and he told The Moose FM there was quite a bit of enthusiasm in North Bay. People not only wanted to vote in the referendum but they wanted to share their experiences about the North Bay Regional Health Centre.
Bisaillon went on to say people are concerned and there is unease with the constant buzz of job cuts to the hospital.
