They’ll be dropping the puck in October for the Inaugural North Bay Celebrity Hockey Classic Series in support of Easter Seals Ontario.
The event features NHL alumni competing alongside residents who raise money for the charity.
Charlene Myke is the Development Manager and she says this tournament is open for anyone.

She says anybody can play – it’s not about how fast you skate its how much money you can raise.
Myke says they are hoping to raise $100,000 through this event. A list of NHL alumni participants will come out later this summer.
She says this will be a two-day event that will include a draft night.
