A call to North Bay Police on Tuesday resulted in the arrest of a 30 year old man.
Police say a complaint reported the man behaving erratically on Lakeshore Drive. Shortly after, the man was arrested after suspicions of him being under the influence of methamphetamines.
Corporate Communications Coordinator Marie Lugli says Police continued to investigate further. She says police received information indicating there may have been another individual at risk.
Lugli says after a search of the residence they found two rifles on the floor but no other person in the residence.
The man is charged with one count of unauthorized possession of a weapon and one count of careless storage of a firearm.
