The MP for Nipissing hopes groups apply to a seniors program.
Anthony Rota says the federal government has begun accepting proposals on how to keep seniors engaged and informed in their communities.
Up to $25,000 is available under the New Horizons for Seniors Program.
Rota says the requests for proposals need to be in by July 29th and for more information go to Canada dot ca slash seniors
