Expect the Galt Street rezoning for a triplex on an empty North Bay lot to go the Ontario Municipal Board. Monday night in a 7-3 vote council approved the re-zoning against residents’ wishes. Homeowners are worried the triplex will create parking problems on the street which will only get worse during the winter. The homeowners believe the proponent should consider other alternatives like building a duplex instead of a triplex.
