Police in North Bay has charged two people after catching a drug deal in progress. Last Wednesday, North Bay Police Service’s Street Crime unit caught a suspected drug deal taking place outside on Worthington Street East. An investigation led to the seizure of a small quantity of methamphetamine, morphine and suboxone pills and $95 cash. As a result, a 50-year-old North Bay faces one count of trafficking, one count of possession of property obtained by crime, and two counts of possession of a controlled substance. A 28-year-old woman has also been charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance. The accused were both released from custody with court appearances scheduled for August 30th.
