If you’re looking for some late night shopping Thursday, well you’re in luck.
Starting at 6PM, Moon Light Madness begins and this year Downtown North Bay is partnering with some vendors from the farmers market.
Main street will be closed off to traffic, people can still access the heart of the city via McIntyre street, Oak street, Wyld street, Cassels street, and Sherbrooke Street.
Parts of Fraser and Ferguson will also be closed off as a safety measure so merchants can set up on the streets, however Memorial Drive will remain open so people can still get from one end of the city to the other.
Downtown Improvement Area executive Jeff Serran says the set up is done this way to help create a more festive environment for when Summer in the Park gets going on Friday.
