May and June Domestic Violence stats released for North Bay

Today, The North Bay Police released the May and June statistics for domestic violence related crimes.

Here’s the break down:

• A total of 174 domestic related calls for service were made, 94 in May and 80 in June.
• 35 arrests made, 17 in May and 18 in June
• 86 criminal charges laid, 40 in May and 46 in June
• The gender breakdown was 24 men and 11 women arrested, 13 men and 4 women in May and 11 men and 7 women in June.
