Black Cat Books on Cassels Street was the victim of a break and enter last night.
Just past 9PM, an intruder/intruders busted into the back of the store by ripping the back door completely off its frame and made away with the cash register.
According to Colin Vollebergh, his store wasn’t the only place they tried to break into as the police found whoever broke into Black Cats actually tried to break into the neighbouring business The Northern Paws Pet Spa as well with no luck.
Vollebergh says the damages amount to about $150 dollars cash, and whatever it will cost to replace the back door.
