Four people nailed for distracted driving

The North Bay Police Service’s Traffic unit issued $490 dollar tickets to four drivers for distracted driving following a targeted traffic enforcement.

Two people were caught texting, while the other two were talking on the phone.

One uniformed officer was in a marked vehicle while the other officer was dressed as construction worker, wearing a hardhat and safety vest.

The enforcement took place at McIntyre and John and at Algonquin and Cassells over a three-hour period yesterday.
