We’re a week removed from Summer in the Park and some numbers are starting to roll in.
Summer in the Park Chairman John Strang says at least 6,300 wristbands were sold, the biggest number in the last three years.
Strang says beer sales were strong, and that all of the vendors on site were happy about the volume they saw.
Strang also says he had people coming up to him on the grounds and thanking him for putting the event together, but stressed that it’s a team effort.
The Summer in the Park committee will hold it’s wrap up meeting tomorrow to discuss what worked at this year’s event, and what they can improve on next year.
