Premier Kathleen Wynne to visit North Bay on Friday

Premier Kathleen Wynne will pay a visit to North Bay this Friday as part of her tour through Northern Ontario.

Wynne has already visited Sudbury, Espanola, Little Current, Elliot Lake and is in Sault Ste. Marie today.

On top of North Bay, Wynne will also be visiting the following communities: Batchawana Bay, Wawa, Fort Frances, Emo, Dryden, Kenora, Sioux Lookout, Moosonee, Moose Factory, New Liskeard and Kirkland Lake.

During the tour, Wynne will announce a series of investments relating to infrastructure, healthcare and other measures.

Wynne will visit schools, hospitals, businesses, and Indigenous communities to get input on what kind of job the provincial government is doing to support economic growth and job creation.

The tour of the North comes on the heels of the report that Canada’s economy lost 31,000 jobs in July, which highlighted serious declines in Ontario.
