Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne announced the completion of the first of 16 refurbished Polar Bear Express passenger rail cars as part of her visit to North Bay.
The province has invested 17-million dollars over three years into the Polar Bear Express for upgrades and modernization.
The project is supporting 25 jobs locally, and will be completed in 2019.
Wynne did not announce any new projects or investments for North Bay at the announcement this morning.
