North Bay has to buy a new Zamboni for its arenas. The cost is just under $76,000. The city operates four Zambonis at three arenas and the one that needs replacing is at the end of its life. The ice-resurfacers have a life of about 12 years and the city has been spreading the replacements about every three years.
