No tickets or notices issued by North Bay Police Service on Thursday

The North Bay Police Service did not issue any tickets or 72-hour notices on the fourth day of the Traffic Enforcement Campaign.

Stock Transportation provided the North Bay Police Service with detailed reports from local school bus drivers about instances where they saw drivers fail to stop during the week.

12 different reports were issued, and two drivers reported the same vehicle failing to stop on multiple days.

On Tuesday, six reports were issued throughout the day by drivers. At 323 Airport Road, while students were entering the school bus on the loading door side, a vehicle failed to stop, and passed the school bus in the left lane. At 131 Elmwood Road, while students were crossing the road, an elderly man failed to stop and was seen driving past on his cell phone. At Trout Lake Road and Kingsway Avenue, a driver failed to stop. At 134 McIntyre Street West, two vehicles failed to stop for the school bus. On 560 McNamara Street, a distracted driver on a cell phone failed to stop and at 537 Hardy Street, a driver failed to stop.

On Wednesday only one instance was seen, at 2677 Trout Lake Road a driver failed to stop for the bus. 

On Thursday five reports were issued to police. At 442 Algonquin Avenue, a driver failed to stop. At 509 Carmichael Drive, a driver failed to stop. At Trout Lake Road and Kingsway Avenue, the same vehicle reported on Tuesday at the same location failed to stop for the bus again. At 2677 Trout Lake Road, the same vehicle reported on Wednesday at the same location failed to stop for the bus, again. At 134 McIntyre Street West, a vehicle failed to stop.
