It’s the start of the second week of the North Bay Police Service’s traffic enforcement campaign.
Six speeding tickets were issued to drivers on Friday, after Thursday saw no tickets handed out.
Two drivers were hit with tickets in the Community Safe Zone on Marshall Avenue East, while the amber lights were flashing. The highest speed recorded was 64 kilometres an hour.
On Gormanville Road, where the speed limit is 50 kilometres an hour, two drivers got speeding tickets. The highest recorded speed was 75 kilometres an hour. Finally, two drivers were ticketed on Algonquin Avenue, and the highest speed recorded there was 75 kilometres an hour as well.
