Police receive a rash of reports about downtown break-ins

The North Bay Police is currently investigating a number of reports of break-ins, attempted break-ins and damage done to businesses.

The various businesses are located on Cassells Street, Algonquin Avenue, Worthington Street East, and Main Street East and West. All of the reports took place over the last two weeks.

In some cases there were no thefts, but in others cash registers and in-store items were displaced. Some also had goods stolen.

Anyone with information that may assist police with these investigations is asked to contact the police at 705-497-5555.
