North Bay Police have arrested a 52-year-old man following a number of historic break and enter and theft investigations.
Allegedly, on October 17th, 2008, the man broke into a business on Fisher Street and stole a number of items estimated at over $8000 in value.  On October 27th, 2009, the man apparently stole a large transport before ditching it on Fourth Avenue East. When police spoke with the registered owner of the truck, he told police the man had attempted to break into his residence before stealing the truck.
On February 16th the man broke into a residence on Front Street and stole things with an estimated value of $17,000. On April 21st he broke into a business on Main Street West, broke into a drawer inside the business and stole $100 in cash.
The man is charged with three counts of break, enter and commit theft. One count of attempted break and enter. And one count of possession of property obtained by crime over $5000. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
