Northern colleges to attract more Southern Ontario students

The province is spending three million dollars to entice students from Southern Ontario to attend one of the north’s six colleges.  The Study North Initiative will show students the advantages of attending a Northern Ontario college.  Fred Gibbons the president of Northern College in Timmins says there’s more interaction between student and teacher because college classes are smaller in the north.  Also waiting lists to enroll in northern programs are shorter than those in the south.
