Front line officers to have tasers by the end of the year

Equipping front line officers in North Bay with tasers has been delayed. Last year, the province approved the idea but now the ministry is looking at approving specific models of conducted energy weapons. Police Chief Paul Cook tells the Moose that the plan is to have model approval by the end of next month and then equip front line officers with them by the end of the year.
