The Temagami First Nations community is receiving $1,000,000 dollars in funding from the federal government. The funding will be used to build a multi-use business centre on the shores of Lake Temagami. The 25-thousand square-foot-building will help boost the community’s waterfront area and will spur business development in the area. The funding announcement was made by MP Jay Aspin, and is part of FedNor’s Northern Ontario Development program.
