Tory leader wants moratorium on school closures

Opposition leader Patrick Brown wants an immediate moratorium on any further school closures.  Brown says the process the Wynne Liberals let school boards use to determine what schools to close is flawed and he wants it reviewed.  In the interim, the Tory leader says all work to shut down any more schools needs to stop.  Brown says it used to be school closure committees considered a school’s broader value to a community.  But that condition disappeared when the government changed the criteria two years ago.
