The power is back in Sturgeon Falls and other parts of West Nipissing.  It was out for several hours Tuesday night when a severe thunderstorm swept through the region.  The outage left 2,500 customers without electricity.  The same storm briefly knocked out power in North Bay.  And in the North Bay council chambers, council carried out business in slight darkness when the lights went out for about a minute.
