A single snowmobile crash on Lake Nipissing yesterday has left the driver in hospital. The OPP says an investigation fund the snowmobiler was travelling on Lake Nipissing when he hit uneven ice, lost control and was thrown from his machine.Â
He was transported to a local hospital to be treated for non- life threatening injuries. OPP reminds people it’s never one hundred percent safe to snowmobile on ice, and snowmobilers should avoid unnecessary risks and stick to available, land-based trails whenever possible.
