ALS Chapter coming to North Bay

Local man, Ray Seguin, is starting an ALS Chapter in North Bay. He will be spearheading a series of fundraising initiatives that will directly support members of our community that suffer from this disease, including an ALS walk. Seguin says he knows of at least seven people in North Bay that currently have ALS, including his own father in law. He says that the costs that come along with care for a person with ALS are upwards of $100,000.00, which is why it’s so important to have local support.

Currently, Seguin is selling T-Shirts with the slogan “I did the Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS” at Lucky 13 stores and Skater’s Edge. He hopes to sell 1,000 t-shirts, and to raise $20,000.00 through the campaign.
