Pedestrian killed by train north of Sudbury

A pedestrian hit by a train on the CPR line on Highway 144 north of Sudbury has died.  The person was hit in Moncrieff Township.    Police are not releasing any other information except to say it happened just before 3:00pm Wednesday.    Then about one hour later, the driver of a vehicle was injured when it was hit by a train on the CNR line in Coniston on Highway 17.  It’s not known had badly the driver was hurt.
