City hall staff in North Bay will prepare a report on road access by ATV’s. The report will look at the pros and cons of allowing the practice and get input from local police. The ATV club is looking for access to some residential streets and says that would bring more ATV’ers to town meaning more tourism dollars. Spokesman Nelson Fletcher says they would stay from major arteries although the proposal calls for some access to Lakeshore. Most councillors like the idea however they are also concerned about safety. Sarah Campbell believes the public will be very concerned and vocal about the proposal because it may create safety problems.
