North Bay Police have arrested a 24-year-old woman for domestic violence after an incident last night.
According to police, on February 15th the woman and her partner got into an argument which turned violent after she threw a bottle at him. Then on March 1st, the two had another argument and this time she burned her partner’s skin with a lit cigarette.
Neither incident was reported to police at the time. Then last night, a third dispute between the couple turned violent when the woman allegedly punched her partner. The injuries as a result of these incidents were minor. The woman is facing two counts of assault with a weapon, one count of assault and two counts of breach of probation. She was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
