North Bay council won’t be accepting a staff report that deals with the old hospital site on Scollard Street just yet. Instead the report is going back to the committee stage after a resident raised enough questions over it. The report was in response to an Ontario Municipal Board ruling that looked at converting the former site into a subdivision. Council delayed accepting the report after Penelope Wallace questioned staff’s interpretation on how part of the ruling applies to the proposed subdivision.
