Now that the weather is getting warmer, the Rotaract Club of North Bay-Nipissing is gearing up for its annual Day of Giving. The event this year is taking place on Saturday, April 29th. Rotaract Clubs throughout the district, including clubs in Sudbury, Barrie, and the Muskoka region, will also be hosting Day of Giving events on April 29th.
In the spirit of Earth Day on April 22nd, Rotaractors and teams of volunteers will be participating in a city-wide cleanup, picking up trash from parks and outdoor areas throughout the city. The event is an opportunity for Rotaract and others to give back to the community through small acts of volunteerism.
The Rotaract Club will also be participating in this year’s North Bay-Mattawa Conversation Authority Adopt-a-Creek program. Part of the Day of Giving activities will include the club officially adopting a portion of Chippewa Creek.
