North Bay Police dealing with more thefts from vehicles

North Bay Police are investigating more reports of thefts from vehicles this week. Police say the recent incidents took place sometime overnight between Wednesday and Thursday.

On Fisher Street, a vehicle was rummaged through but no items were taken. A Bluetooth was stolen from a vehicle on Shallot Crescent, while loose change was taken from a vehicle on McIntyre Street East. Finally, an ID was stolen from a vehicle on Pearce Street.

Police say all four vehicles were unlocked, but no vehicles were damaged. These incidents are part of a pattern over the past month, and police are again reminding drivers to lock their doors when they leave their vehicle unattended. They also ask you take any valuables, like ID’s or money, or make sure there out of plain sight. If you see anything suspicious like someone checking door handles on vehicles, police ask you call 9-1-1 and let them know.
