A 31-year-old from Mississauga has been arrested by North Bay Police for drug possession for the purpose of trafficking. Police carried out a traffic stop on Station Road around 8:00pm on Friday, and after the man had been arrested police searched his vehicle.
They seized approximately 68.9 grams of cocaine, 198.4 grams of marijuana, $420 in cash and four cell phones as evidence. The total street value of the drugs seized is $10,900.
The man is facing two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and one count of possession of property obtained by crime. He was held in custody for bail.
