Three inmates charged by North Bay Police

North Bay Police have charged three inmates at the North Bay jail after an incident on March 22nd.

According to police, the three men caused extensive damage to the inside of the building and also started a fire. The Institutional Crisis Intervention Team responded and took control of the incident, but one guard sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

A 35-year-old was charged with one count of unlawful assembly, one count of mischief over $5,000 and one count of arson. A 31-year-old was charged with one count of mischief over $5,000, one count of arson and one count of breach of probation. Lastly, an 18-year-old was charged with one count of mischief over $5,000, one count of arson and one count of fail to comply with sentence.
