Sudbury man arrested by North Bay Police for impaired driving

A 41-year-old Sudbury man has been arrested by North Bay Police for impaired driving. Police say they received a call from a concerned resident about a suspected impaired driver just before 5:00pm yesterday on McKeown Avenue. Shortly after, the man was found by police and taken to headquarters. After analysis of breath samples he provided to police showed he was under the influence, he was arrested.

He’s facing one count of driving while ability impaired by alcohol, one count of driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in his blood, one count of driving while disqualified and three counts of breach of probation. The man was released from custody, and will appear in court on April 11th.

The police thanked the resident who called 9-1-1 to report the man, and encourage anyone who sees anything suspicious around the city to follow suit.
