One Kids Place adds community leader Katharine Strang to their team

One Kids Place Children’s Treatment Centre has announced that Katharine Strang has joined their team in the role of Development Officer. Director of Development/Community Relations Jason Corbett says Strang is a fantastic addition to their team and he’s excited to work together as they engage the community to increase services and supports to children and youth with special needs and their families.

Corbett says Strang brings a long history of community leadership and has deep roots in the Not-for-Profit sector having been involved in various community campaigns, most recently with the North Bay Food Bank. Strang and her husband John own and operate U-NEED-A-CAB, which has been a very generous donor to OKP since its inception making a substantial contribution to the Capital Campaign.

Strang says having been born and raised in North Bay, she’s very proud of the community and hopes her work at One Kids Place will help to strengthen and grow the organization. OKP Executive Director, Denis Filiatrault says One Kids Place provides services throughout Muskoka, Nipissing and Parry Sound, and they look forward to increasing their community engagement and dedication to the families who rely on their services.
