City accepting applications for the North Bay Downtown Waterfront Advisory Committee until tomorrow

If you’d like to be a part of the North Bay Downtown Waterfront Advisory Committee, you have until tomorrow at noon to get an application in. The group is expected to meet for the first time on April 21st, and it will be tasked with reviewing the proposed downtown waterfront master plan and King’s Landing environmental assessment.

The committee will look at the steps and phases in the master plan proposal, as well as cost estimates, and make recommendations to council about how to move forward. Staff are expected to present to the committee about King’s Landing, and Councillor Mark King has already made clear he wants to see a repair proposal for the wharf brought forward.

Council’s striking committee will consider all of the applications and make appointments. Appointments are on a volunteer basis and no compensation will be paid for being a part of the committee.
