The North Bay OPP have arrested a 36-year-old man from Nipissing First Nation for impaired driving. Police conducted a traffic stop on the Highway 11/17 bypass near Seymour Street on April 9th around 1:30am. After a breathalyzer, police determined the man was driving with over 80 milligrams of alcohol in his blood. He is scheduled to appear in court on April 25th.

A 22-year-old woman from East Ferris Township has been arrested and charged with two counts of assault following an incident. On April 8th around 4:00pm, the Mattawa OPP responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence in Calvin Township about an unwanted person. The will be in court on May 10th in Mattawa.
