A pair of presentations highlight a lighter city council agenda tonight

North Bay city council meets tonight for the first time since the Dionne Home issue was finally decided, and only a couple of items are on the agenda.

Three rezoning applications are on the committee agenda, one for Maplewood Avenue, Olive Street and Cassells Street. Then to kick off the regular meeting of council, two presentations are currently scheduled. One of the presentations is on the North Bay job fair and workforce week, and the other is titled “Mastering the Assessment and Property Tax Equation”.

Some of the reports on the council agenda include the purchase of pay and display parking machines, the 2017 assessment analysis and tax policy review, the city’s official plan review and a report about final approval for Phase 1 of the Mapleshore Estate Rural Estate Subdivision.
