A 27-year-old man and 29-year-old woman from Mattawa have been arrested by the OPP, and now face drug and weapons charges after police busted a grow-op in the community. According to police, they raided a property where more than 300 marijuana plants were being grown.
In addition to seizing the plants, police confiscated grow-op equipment, a firearm and ammo. The pair are looking at drug production and possession for the purpose of trafficking charges, as well as charges of careless storage of a firearm and unauthorized possession of a firearm.
