North Bay Police have slapped a man with several charges after he allegedly financially abused his elderly mother. An ongoing police investigation in 2013 revealed that the accused had used his mother’s cheques to make several purchases she didn’t know about. He had also allegedly transferred money from the victim’s bank account to his own. He is now facing nine charges, including fraud, theft, and uttering forged documents.
