The third and final public meeting for the North Bay ARC committee is tonight at Chippewa Secondary school beginning at 6:30pm. Recommendations from the ARC about the six schools in North Bay involved in the process will be announced tonight. The schools involved are E.T. Carmichael, E.W. Norman and W.J. Fricker public schools and Chippewa, West Ferris and Widdifield secondary schools.

Members will have a chance to weigh in, but no comments from the public will be allowed tonight. Public comments can be made at a special board meeting at West Ferris on June 12th. Anyone interested in presenting has to be registered for the speakers list, and provide their written submission to Carrie.Girard@nearnorthschools.ca by noon on Thursday, June 8th. Each person will be given 5 minutes to speak to their written submission.

From there, staff will provide the Board of Trustees with a final staff report and then trustees will make their final decision on June 27th.
