North Bay Police have charged the driver of a minivan with improper left turn after a two vehicle collision on McIntyre Street East and Ferguson Street. The collision happened on Friday around 6:30pm. According to police, the minivan was travelling in the centre lane and turned left towards Ferguson, colliding with a four-door car that was travelling in the same direction in the left lane.
Both the driver and a passenger in the car had to be taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Both vehicles also required towing. Public Works were also called in to fix damages to a light pole in front of 101 McIntyre Street East after the car crossed Ferguson Street and struck it.
