Trustees at the Near North Board accept pay freeze…

Trustees at the Near North Board won’t be getting a raise for at least another year. The Ministry of Education announced that they will be freezing honorariums in Tuesday night’s meeting, which was agreed upon by the board. The funds that were originally planned for the pay hike will be put into the school board’s budget instead. Meanwhile, trustee’s debated whether their individual internet service and laptops, which are currently covered by the board, should be paid out of pocket instead.
