The Studio in North Bay will be hosting a 90-minute Zumbathon Charity Event this Friday to bring awareness and raise money for Cystic Fibrosis. Studio co-owner Macrina Perron’s two children have Cystic Fibrosis, and says events like these help raise the funds researchers need to find a cure. The Perron family, along with countless others are met with challenges every day related to CF. Fundraising events like these provide researchers the opportunity to gain insight that will allow children dealing with the disease to live long, and fulfilling lives.
Things get started at 7:00pm at Alliance French Immersion Public School. The Studio, along with several Zumba Fitness instructors from the North Bay Area will be hosting the event. No prior Zumba experience is necessary, and the cost to participate in the 90-minute Zumbathon Charity Event is $25, or free with $50 in pledges.
